Our residential conference is taking place during the Spring Term 2020 and is open to all Camden Headteachers.

Aims and Objectives
This year the conference will be themed around the curriculum aiming to faciltitate discussions and collaborative thinking.
Joining us this year is Becky Allen, Chief Analyst and co-founder of Teacher Tapp, the largest teacher survey and professional development tool in the UK. She is also an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Oxford. Until 2018, she was Professor of Education at UCL Institute of Education and over her academic career she has written extensively on school accountability, admissions, expenditure and teacher careers.
We will also be welcoming Christine Counsell, an independent consultant supporting schools, partnerships,Trusts and Teaching Schools in curriculum and teacher development. Christine has worked in teaching and leadership roles in state schools, as local authority adviser in primary and secondary schools and as Director of Education of a MAT serving areas of acute disadvantage in East Anglia. In 2016 she served on the DfE Workload Solutions group and from 2017-19 she served on the Ofsted Curriculum Advisory Group. During 2019, she trained all HMI in the implementation the new Ofsted inspection framework.
Becky and Christine will explore a range of topics all broadly framed around the topic of curriculum.
