What does this event cover
Middle leaders are essential to the success of any school. What they do varies across settings but in all schools, they play a vital role in enacting the organisation’s values, modelling expectations and driving improvement.

With a renewed focus on the quality of your school curriculum Ofsted judgements will be informed through the evidence available in your school and sourced from staff, pupils and subject/middle leaders. The virtual INSET is aimed at working with middle leaders to help them feel prepared and ready to particulate the school’s Curriculum approach by discussing the intent, explaining how it is implemented and the impact of your actions to date, with clarity and confidence.

INSET Aims:
  • To clarify the Ofsted expectations
  • Explore the progress within subjects and how this is developed and monitored in school
  • Explore how pupil progress and attainment is assessed in your school

  • Plan necessary actions that will enable self-evaluation
