What does this event cover
These conferences will provide a forum for Literacy leaders to meet each other and exchange ideas and information between Camden schools. These termly sessions will support leaders to bemore effective in their role and keep up to date with latest developments/initiatives.

Termly meetings will:

  • Support Literacy Leaders to be highly effective in their role
  • Keep Literacy leaders up to date with the latest national and local developments in English
  • Provide an opportunity to reflect on and evaluate provision and practice and to identify improvements and developments needed to raise standards.
  • Provide an opportunity for school to school sharing of best practice
  • Prepare for OFSTED by sharing experiences
  • Opportunities to discuss pedagogies and approaches to teaching.
  • Subject knowledge development
