These termly childminding forums provide a regular opportunity to meet up with your childminding colleagues and your Early Years Advisors to discuss a range of professional issues.
In the Summer term, the Childminding Forum will take place face to face at the Crowndale Centre.

6.35pm – 6.50pm:We will be sharing information from Camden's 'Father Inclusion Lead' (David Mullings) who is currently setting up Saturday drop-ins and working with early years settings in Camden to support fathers.
6.50-7pm: We will she sharing information and feedback from Alison Purchase, (Health Improvement Lead) who has been providing training in Camden this term on Healthy Conversations.

For SENCOs new to the role, and will also be a useful refresher for more experienced SENCOs regarding Camden’s procedures and best practice. This session if for all SENCOs in early years settings.
What does this event cover
In this course you will learn about the SEN Code of Practice and the statutory duties regarding children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The day also shows you formats and systems to support you in your role. It is an essential course for SENCOs new to the role in Camden.
The focus of the course will be on: • Defining a special educational need. • The Code of Practice procedures. • The role of the SENCO. • Setting and reviewing targets. • Working with parents.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Mental Health Leads Network meeting which provides a supportive space for all Mental Health Leads. It is an opportunity to meet other MH Leads, share what you are doing, discuss challenges and develop good ideas and strategies to help you in your role. We have invited along a Clinical Psychologist who will speak to the group about work with young people and adults who have experienced PTSD and / or are seeking asylum and will share some ideas for how you can support pupils experiencing these issues.
