What does this event cover
You are invited to a meeting to focus on what more can be done to reduce obesity in Camden’s children and young people. Reducing obesity is a key priority of Camden’s Health and Wellbeing Board and this meeting is part of a series of conversations about reducing obesity taking place across 4 aspects; schools, environment, business and families.
An opportunity for Headteachers, governors, staff responsible for Healthy schools and those working to support schools on health and school improvement to come together and look at what is working in schools and what more can be done individually and collectively to have a greater impact on reducing childhood obesity.
The morning will include:
Examples of what schools are doing that are making a difference to healthy eating and physical activity
How this work supports the new Ofsted judgement for personal development Ideas about
what could work differently or better
Explore what more could be done
The aim is to identify 2 or 3 actions that can be taken forward
This training is free and lunch will be provided.
