By attending the course you will:
be able to identify the important parts of the Asbestos Survey, what it means to the school and how to ensure staff, children and visitor safety.
understand your role and responsibilities in relation to managing asbestos where it remains in situ
be able to implement effective practical management in your workplace including the permission to work procedure, annual inspections and reporting asbestos related incidents
be able to act as an authorising officer for the school and complete the permission to work log
be aware of where to look for further information and advice
