KS1 and KS2 class teachers, English leads, oracy leads.
What does this event cover
This course aims to share oracy practice and innovation in both reading and writing across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The training will focus on:

  • practical tools and approaches to grow a culture of high-quality talk in the classroom
  • effective development of oracy in Guided Reading and modelled writing
  • the explicit teaching of vocabulary in all aspects of the curriculum
  • context for oracy teaching and learning across the wider curriculum.
