Starts: Friday 3 May 2019 - 13:00 - 16:00
Venue : Crowndale Centre, 218 Eversholt Street, London, NW1 1BD map
Who is this event for
For Managers and Room Leaders of Early Years Settings.
What does this event cover
‘Successful Management is motivating people to do what you want because they want to’.

Designed for managers and room leaders, this short workshop is aimed at encouraging reflection on how we motivate our teams to fully meet their potential within our early years settings. Through group discussion and activities we will review the processes involved in encouraging team members to support the overall development of a setting or room development plan.

We will consider rights and responsibilities within support and supervision, agreeing, setting and monitoring targets as well as considering motivating factors which affect team dynamics.

We will leave this workshop armed with some simple proven strategies for encouraging colleagues to aim for the best possible professional practice for our young children and their families, maximising the overall quality of our base rooms and settings.
