The link to access the training will be circulated the day before the session is schedule to take place

Before the training, we recommend the delegates to:

  • To have the correct software on your device to join the virtual session.
  • To join in the virtual session earlier than advertised to allow for any IT issues.
  • Ensure you are in a room away from distractions or interruptions.
  • Ensure no under 18’s are present as we may present or show graphic content due to the nature of the training.
  • Have any present training materials on hand if requested

Primary Teachers New to Year 2.
What does this event cover
This will introduce teachers to the expectations of end of Key Stage 1 assessment. Teachers will consider how to provide a broad and balanced curriculum whilst ensuring that pupils are prepared for end of year statutory tests.

Reading, writing and maths will be the areas of focus with an emphasis on quality assessment for learning and next steps teaching. Teachers will be more secure in end of year expectations in these areas. Teachers will be given strategies to implement in their class room practise to support children in reaching end of year expectations.
