What does this event cover
The Every Child a Talker (ECAT) project was designed to raise children’s achievement in early language, increase parental understanding and involvement in children’s language development and raise practitioners skills and knowledge. These remain vital elements of best practice today.

This course is designed for all practitioners working within the early years who want to hear about all the strategies from the ECAT project that really make a difference for young children's communication skills. 

Come and share ideas for how to provide a language rich environment, create language rich experiences and gain the skills and confidence to encourage parents and colleagues to become language rich play partners.

What does this event cover
In September 2019 all primary schools will have to teach relationship education and all secondary schools will have to teach relationships and sex education. This session will give governors all the information they need to ensure their schools are ready to implement the changes.
