What does this event cover
An opportunity for Sixth Form leads to discuss every aspect of Post-16 provision, for all mainstream Camden sixth forms, including colleges and academies.

How to ensure adequacy of curriculum provision for all , and how to make that provision good or outstanding; as well as giving an overview of government and LA thinking, regarding policy issues, and management, and teacher actions that work to raise the profile of post-16 students.

Who is this event for
For all early years practitioners and childminders working with children aged 0-5. It is expected that the attending staff member will be involved in planning and delivering an attention group regularly. 

What does this event cover
This course is designed to give you practical strategies for planning and delivering a regular attention group. 
 
Attendees will understand: 
  • What joint attention is and why it is important. 
  • How we can build joint attention. 
  • How to set up an attention group. 
  • How to develop and adapt activities. 
  • Tips on what to avoid. 
  • Tips on how to be successful.

What does this event cover
This workshop focuses on refining your PECS implementation skills in all phases and identifying good practice. Throughout the training you will be provided with phase demonstrations and video examples. Please note, we do not have a licence to provide initial PECS training as we are not licenced training providers. 

This workshop is a refresher, and is only for practitioners who have previously attended the 2 day PECS training with Pyramid Education.

The hope is that through this learning, different ways of managing pupils’ emotional states and of  managing the emotional states pupils’ induce in staff will evolve more naturally and organically.
